Support

Our Volunteer Coordinator acts as a single point of contact for our volunteer’s support needs. Volunteers will receive regular one-to-one supervisions to discuss their caseloads and receive guidance and advice.

Volunteer welfare is important to us and volunteers are free to request more frequent supervisions or informal support as and when they feel they are needed.

Volunteer Open Evenings are a chance for volunteers to meet their fellow team members and to seek guidanceĀ  or ask questions in areas on which they are unsure, we often have a guest speaker form one of our partner agencies so that volunteers are able to learn new skills.

Volunteers are also encouraged to help out at community events to build their relationships with Victims First staff members.
